Smiling man with implant bridge

Implant Bridge

Tooth loss can drastically impact your confidence and your oral function. But Dr. Jose Valenzuela Jr. provides a natural-looking solution.

At Cosmetic Implant & Dentistry Center in Mexicali, he offers same-day implant bridges to refine your smile and improve your wellness.

Plus, by going to Los Algodones, Mexico, for your bridge and implants, you can benefit from more affordable dental work than in America.

Everything You Need to Know About Dental Bridges

While Dr. Valenzuela will go over bridges in your dental consultation with our Los Algodones team, here's a quick intro to this effective dental restoration option.

They Can Replace Several Teeth

Traditional bridges can replace one to three teeth but if you opt for implants, that option is best for two or more missing teeth. We also offer crowns to restore a single tooth. For more extensive tooth loss, you could be a candidate for partial or full dentures.

They're Fully Customized

When you choose our Los Algodones dental office to create your bridge, the results will be completely tailored to your smile. We pride ourselves in using advanced technology like high-magnification oral cameras, CT scanners, and digital X-rays for precise results.

They Can Be Created in a Day

At our Mexico practice, we know your time is valuable. To ensure that you never have to wait long for high-quality dental care, we feature an on-site CAD/CAM system, PrograMill One from Ivoclar Vivadent, to make your same-day dental bridge in-house.

There Are Two Types Available

Patients can choose from two types of bridges at our practice: traditional bridges, which are attached to natural teeth on each side of the restoration, or implant-supported bridges, which are attached to dental implants.

Improve Your Smile and Your Health With an Implant-Supported Bridge

A traditional bridge can restore your tooth, but it doesn't do anything to address one of the most common consequences of tooth loss: bone loss.

This deterioration happens when your bone lacks the stimulation it normally gets from tooth roots. Luckily, implants can work just like tooth roots to maintain a healthy jawbone.

Wondering what implants are? They're tiny screws placed into your gum and jawbone. Along with abutments or connector pieces, they can keep your new bridge securely attached. Our team uses abutments to permanently attach other options as well, like dentures and crowns.

Get to Know the Process for Implant-Supported Bridges

Even if you're not a candidate yet, our Los Algodones dentist can prepare you for treatment with supplementary care like bone grafting and periodontal care.

Virtual Consultation

You can explore your candidacy for dental implants and bridges from anywhere in the world with a virtual consultation. Our dentist can explain your options, like bridges, dentures, and crowns.

Reaching Us

We go above and beyond just offering dental work. Our team can also assist you in coordinating your trip to Los Algodones, Mexico, helping you organize transportation and lodging if needed.

Dental Implant Surgery

Dr. Valenzuela will make you completely comfortable with a local anesthetic and sedation, if you choose. He will then carefully place the dental implants in your jawbone.

Our doctor will use Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF), a treatment made from your own plasma, to assist your body in implant recovery.

In rare cases, the treatment site will be closed and allowed to heal. In others, he'll attach an abutment to each implant.

Temporary Restoration

You'll need to heal before we place your final bridge. We'll provide a natural-looking temporary restoration in the meantime to maintain your appearance.

Permanent Restoration

Our Los Algodones team can sometimes place your final restoration immediately. If you received a temporary, we'll see you again in 3 to 6 months after your implants have undergone osseointegration. This means they fuse with the bone.

The Cosmetic and Implant Center was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional and even before getting there they were responsive over email. My implant procedure went flawlessly and professionally...They have state of the art dental equipment and the staff was timely, genuine, nice and efficient. I will be returning for my follow-up appointment in four months and am looking forward to completing my procedure. It was also a pleasure shopping in the many markets lining the streets. I recommend the Cosmetic and Implant Center highly and with no reservation.

Paying for Treatment

Our Los Algodones, Mexico dental clinic accepts dental insurance and Citerra Financing. Though dental implants are not covered by insurance, they're an investment in your health — and they're far cheaper over the border. Fortunately, your dental bridge itself may be covered.
