COVID-19 Announcement from Dr. Valenzuela

Porcelain Veneers

Worn, chipped, or discolored teeth can make you self-conscious about your smile and affect your overall self-confidence.

Dr. Jose Valenzuela Jr. can place porcelain veneers to conceal a range of flaws and create a more symmetrical and beautiful smile.

So why should you choose veneers?

We Can Customize Your Results  to Suit Your Unique Goals

At Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry Center, we have advanced smile design software which allows us to digitally design your smile based on your specific needs and goals. During your initial consultation, Dr. Valenzuela will examine your smile and discuss your concerns and preferences. Then we can take intraoral scans and digital photographs and create a simulation of what your results will look like before we even touch your teeth.

If you decide to undergo treatment, we can create wax-ups and preparation guides, ensuring we preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible.

But how do I know if veneers are right for me?

Requirements for Veneers

Since veneers can address a wide range of concerns, many patients can benefit from this treatment. However, there are certain reasons why veneers may not be right for you. Dr. Valenzuela can perform a full oral health exam and determine whether an alternative treatment, such as teeth whitening or Invisalign®, may be a better choice.

To qualify for porcelain veneers, you should have:

So What Happens during Treatment?

Dramatic Results in Two Visits

In most cases, enhancing your smile with porcelain veneers requires two visits to our office. During the first appointment, Dr. Valenzuela will:

  1. Discuss your goals
  2. Design your smile
  3. Prepare your teeth by removing a thin layer of enamel
  4. Take impressions

We will use the impressions to begin crafting your veneers. We offer a variety of materials, including porcelain and IPS e.max®. We also place LUMINEERS®, which are a popular type of minimal-prep veneers.

Once your veneers are ready, you can return to our office for placement. During the second appointment, Dr. Valenzuela will:

  1. Ensure your veneers sit properly against your teeth
  2. Make any necessary adjustments
  3. Etch the enamel
  4. Bond the veneers to the front of your teeth

We work hard to ensure your veneers fit properly within your smile so they look and feel incredibly natural
