Invisalign® for Rotated Teeth: Orthodontics Treatments

Over the course of many months, teeth can be gradually straightened and all of a patients teeth properly aligned.

When treating tooth rotation with Invisalign®, the degree of the tooth rotation matters. Severely twisted or rotated teeth may not be able to be treated simply given the nature of the dental arch and tooth structure. During the consultation process, we will determine whether or not a patient’s tooth is too twisted for Invisalign® treatment.

In some cases, oral surgery may be recommended to address an extremely twisted tooth. This could even involve extraction of the tooth and replacement with a crown supported by a dental implant.
